The Supreme Court did reach some positive results in recent weeks.  The decision upholding the right of habeus corpus for prisoners in Guantanamo reinforces a bulwark of democracy.  And it is fascinating that in this term the court issued a number of pro-worker decisions against a background of negative decisions in recent terms.

Quiz: In which case did Justice Scalia acknowledge that the ruling would “almost certainly cause more Americans to be killed.”

If you think that he reached that level of honesty the gun law case, think again. He made the statement in dissent in the habeus corpus case.
